A note about restricted dogs
We truly love dogs of every shape, size, and personality. Unfortunately, for insurance and safety reasons, a few breeds can't be approved in our managed homes. We're sorry if your best friend is on this list, and we're always glad to talk through your options.
This isn't about your dog's heart
Please know these restrictions are not a judgment of any individual dog. Every dog below can be a wonderful, gentle companion. The list exists because our property insurance carriers and liability requirements limit certain breeds and dogs over a certain weight. We wish it could be different, and we appreciate your understanding.
Breeds with dominant traits toward aggression
These breeds are restricted regardless of a specific dog's temperament. We know that feels unfair for a sweet, well-behaved pup, and we're sorry for the disappointment.

Alaskan Malamute

American Pit-Bull Terrier

American Staffordshire Terrier

Boxer

Cane Corso

Dalmatian

How the policy is enforced
We have to be clear on this part: residents may be evicted for misrepresenting any of the above type of dog, as well as for possession of any poisonous, dangerous, endangered, or otherwise unauthorized animal. Our animal policies are strictly enforced and can be grounds for eviction.
We share this simply so there are no surprises down the road, honesty upfront protects everyone.
Service & assistance animals are different
Special consideration is given to service animals that assist a resident with special medical needs, with proper and current documentation for verification. If this applies to you, please don't worry, reach out and we'll walk you through the accommodation process with care.
