A/C Does Not Blow Cold Air

Check the thermostat mode, the filter, and the breaker before submitting a cooling request.

Tools & supplies

Set the thermostat to Cool and lower it below room temperature.

Replace the thermostat batteries if the display is blank.

Check the breaker panel and reset a tripped A/C breaker once.

Replace a dirty filter to restore airflow.

Give the system several minutes to respond; if it still will not cool, submit a request.
