Toilet Clogged
A single clogged toilet can often be cleared safely with a flange plunger before a request is needed.
Safety first
Stop flushing once the bowl is full. If water is rising toward the rim or other fixtures are also backing up, submit a request.

- Flange plunger
- Gloves
Step-by-step instructions

Stop flushing so the bowl does not overflow.

Fit a flange plunger fully over the drain opening to form a tight seal.
- 3
Plunge with steady strokes for 15–20 seconds, then check if the water drains.
- 4
Repeat once or twice if the level slowly drops.
- 5
If the bowl stays full, water rises, or other fixtures back up, submit a request.
